About Brewery

In 1944, due to a wartime corporate control order, five neighboring breweries got together and jointly established Hachinohe Brewery Co.
The brewery is still brewing and producing sake under the new brand name "Jyoku" in the same brewery as before.
We are striving to further refine "Pure and Clean", "Full Flavor", and "Smooth Aftertaste" to create "Umashi-shu" means "Rich Umami Sake" a sake unique to Goto area where is the brewery located.
The brewery's environment is notable for its three wells. The source of this limpid spring water is the famous mountain Heritage, which is the outer rim of Lake Towada.

About Akita

One of the major attractions of the prefecture is its beautiful nature, with magnificent mountains, the azure Sea of Japan, light and water, and green rice fields, as well as a variety of festivals and traditional culture that can be seen throughout the prefecture throughout the year, allowing people to enjoy the changing scenery and customs of the four seasons.Another major attraction is the rich culinary culture that allows people to taste fresh agricultural, forestry, and fishery products nurtured in the great outdoors when they are "in season" and to enjoy a variety of local cuisine.
