About Brewery
The Prefectural Gin Project is an initiative to plan and develop craft gins using the specialties of each of the 47 prefectures in Japan, and to promote them in Japan and abroad.
Our goal is to maximize the flavors of products unique to each locality, and to design products that are not only delicious, but can also be used as a fun communication tool at gatherings where people can enjoy a drink in hand.
About Kochi
Kochi Prefecture, located on Japan's southern island of Shikoku, is renowned for its pristine natural environment and rich agricultural products. Known as Japan's leading producer of yuzu, a fragrant citrus fruit, Kochi’s climate and fertile soil make it ideal for growing this key ingredient used in gin making. The prefecture’s pure water sources and access to fresh botanicals further contribute to the production of high-quality craft gin, bringing out the refreshing and zesty flavors of locally grown yuzu.
